Honoring William “Bill’ Mc Broome Jr.

Pacific Northwest Masonic Lodges will have a reception to honor William “Bill’ Mc Broome Jr., on Saturday August 6th. He joined Humboldt Masonic Lodge No. 79 in 2001,and served as lodge master in 2007. From 2008 until 2012 he was the Inspector of the 101st Masonic District. From 2013 until 2016, he served as Assistance Grand Lecturer for Division I for the Grand Lodge of California. Noted guests will be David Perry, Grand Master of Masons in California; Bruce Galloway, Senior Grand Warden; John Trauner, Junior Grand Warden, select and Kay Dunn, Potentate of Aahmes Shrine Temple. Bill was born in Redding but was raised in Arcata. He attended Pacific Union School and Arcata high School. While attending school he worked at Custom Kitchens. After graduating, he worked at Industrial Electric for 17 years. He currently works for McKinleyville Community Services, where he has been for the past 13 years. He and his wife Leslie have three children, daughters Ashley and Brittany and son Travis.
